Integration with your information system

There are several ways to build interactions between, no crm.io and third party services, including your own information system. This connection can be built through:

  • The use of our API
  • Zapier.com
  • Personalized widgets defined inside our app
  • Personalized actions on leads

These integrations will allow you to push/pull data to/from your information system, your full CRM or ERP directly from/to our application.

Direct integration: the API and Zapier

As explained in other help sections we provide an API with a wide range of functions; for example, our mobile app is built on the top of this API. The API allows you to create and edit leads and prospecting lists. You can even add a single line in existing prospecting lists.

The API also comes with “Webhooks” to trigger calls to any program you want. Full API documentation can be found here.

If you do not have any developers to use the API and want to connect to third party apps, check out Zapier.

Displaying data from your information system:

⚠️ This feature is only available in the Expert edition.

Personalized Widgets:

Personalized widget allows you to display any kind of information directly inside our application. There are two types of personalized widgets: one for the homepage and one for the lead detail page.

The Homepage Widget:

It can be activated and defined in the Admin panel > User interface > Dashboard's widgets section of your account. The Widget can be either HTML or IFRAME.

In the HTML mode, you can add any HTML content including javascript and IFRAMEs. You have access to some variables like the email address of the connected user, their name and their ID. This can be very useful to display a link to sales documents or forms pointing to your internal information system.

The IFRAME mode allows you to point to an external resource on the web and can help you include some resources from your website directly in our app. The only constraint you have is that the URL of the IFRAME must be served under the secure HTTPS protocol. You can use any exposed variable in the URL of your IFRAME.

The Lead Widget: It can be activated in Admin panel > Lead Widget. The lead widget is displayed on the detailed view of each lead. Its purpose is to expose some of the lead attributes, allowing you to retrieve and display information that is specific to this lead either from your own information system or from third-party services like social media platforms or Google Maps.

Let's suppose that you have in your own information system some specific information about a prospect, such as the fact that they interacted with your support team, or that have previously bought a product or how often did they come to your website or any other relevant data you could have; with this widget you will be able to display this information directly on the lead's detail page.

You can only have one active lead widget, but as you can edit its HTML it can be multipurpose. See our blog post on how to embed a Google Maps

Personalized Lead Actions

On each lead there is an Actions menu. Actions inside this menu are predefined: assign the lead, edit it, change its status... Thanks to this feature you can add your own personalized actions inside this menu. For example, if you have to add a won lead to your information system to invoice them or for the operational team to start working on it or just to add it to your CRM or ERP, the Personalized Action allows you to do that easily.

To add a personalized link to the "actions" menu of a lead, go to Admin > Lead Action Menu, and create an action that will point to a program you host. Just like for the lead widget, you will have access to a lot of lead properties and be able to send them to your program.

You can define several personalized actions, the click on an action will open a new window with the target address.

Here are 2 examples of simple actions that can be added: a Google search on the name of the company and a Linkedin Search on the name of the prospect.

1/ Google search:

Create a new action and name it Google search.

Enter the URL: https://www.google.com/search?q=${lead_title}

2/ LinkedIn search Assuming that you have a firstname and lastname fields.

Create a new action and name it LinkedIn search. Enter the URL: https://www.linkedin.com/search/results/index/?keywords=${lead_f_first_name}%20${lead_f_last_name}

That's as simple as that.
