How to Automatically Retrieve Incoming Emails

Receive incoming emails from your leads directly into your no CRM account. This ZAP automatically retrieves and attaches incoming emails from Gmail to their corresponding leads so you can keep track of your exchanges.


All you need to set it up are Gmail, no CRM.io, and Zapier accounts.

Get Started

To make sure the test runs properly, right before setting up this ZAP, please create a sample lead in your no CRM account with an email address you own then send an email to yourself using that address.

  • Set up your TRIGGER
  • Set up your ACTION
  • Set up your SECOND ACTION
  • Connect your TRIGGER App Account and Set Up the Trigger

    Sign into your Zapier account and click on the MAKE A ZAP! button at the very top where you will be directed to a new page:

    1. Choose the Trigger App: Gmail
    2. Choose the Trigger: New Email
    3. Connect Zapier to your Gmail account
    4. Edit Options: Select the Label/Mailbox or keep it empty
    5. Test this Step to make sure it runs successfully


    Connect your ACTION App Account and Set Up the Action

    1. Choose an Action App: no CRM.io
    2. Choose an Action: Find Lead
    3. Connect Zapier to your no CRM.io account if you haven’t already by

  • Entering your slug/account name (https://ACCOUNT.nocrm.io)
  • Entering your API Key (Go to your no CRM.io account Admin Panel, select Webhooks and API, API Keys then click on the Create an API Key button and name it.)

  • 4. Edit Options to set up the search for no CRM.io lead! Based on the email Zapier retrieved in the previous step, select the email address of the sender. You can also choose for the search to only include leads with a specific status such as To-Do


    5. Test the step and this Action set up is set up.


    Connect your ACTION App Account and Set Up the Second Action

    1. Choose an Action App: no CRM.io
    2. Choose an Action: Add Comment
    3. Select the no CRM.io account you connected in the previous step
    4. Edit template to set up the email copy as a comment

  • Select “Use a Custom Value” for the Lead field

  • Choose the lead’s ID from Step 2 for the second field
  • Add in the information you want to attach as a comment to your no CRM.io leads

  • 5. Test the step and this Action set up is set up.
