Add a Next Action to your Lead Once an Event is Booked

Automatically change the status of your leads to Stand By with your chosen activity when they book a meeting with you on Calendly. You can also add comments to the activity such as the content of the meeting taken from information filled out in the Calendly event.


All you need to set it up are Calendly, no CRM.io, and Zapier accounts.

Get Started

  • Set up your TRIGGER
  • Set up your ACTION
  • Set up your Second ACTION
  • Connect your TRIGGER App Account and Set Up the Trigger

    Sign into your Zapier account and click on the MAKE A ZAP! button at the very top where you will be directed to a new page:

    1. Choose the Trigger App: Calendly
    2. Choose the Trigger: Invitee Created
    3. Connect Zapier to your Calendly account by entering an API key found at the top of your Calendly's Integrations page.
    4. Test this step by having a recently created event!


    Connect your ACTION App Account and Set Up the Action

    1. Choose an Action App: no CRM.io
    2. Choose an Action: Find Lead
    3. Connect Zapier to your no CRM.io account if you haven’t already by

  • Entering your slug/account name (https://ACCOUNT.nocrm.io)
  • Entering your API Key (Go to your no CRM.io account Admin Panel, select Webhooks and API, API Keys then click on the Create an API Key button and name it.)
  • 4. Customize the Lead with the lead's email address retrieved from the Calendly invitee sample in the previous step.

    5. Test the step and click on the "Add a step" button


    Connect your ACTION App Account and Set Up the Second Action

    1. Choose an Action App: no CRM.io
    2. Choose an Action: Change Status
    3. Connect Zapier to your no CRM.io account which you've already done in the second step
    4. Edit Template to select:

  • Lead: Use a Custom Value (advanced)
  • Custom Value for Lead ID: Select Find Lead > Lead
  • Status: Standby
  • Reminder Date and Time: Select Invitee Created > Event Start Time
  • Activity (optional): Select the custom activity of your choice
  • Comment on what you plan to do (optional): Write your comments or retrieve information filled out by your invitee for the event.

    5. Test the step and the Action set up is finished
